Sugar Ray: ”Fly” (with KAHLIN Holmes)
We welcome Kahlin Holmes to The Winchester to discuss a song that she has recommended for our podcast: "Fly" by Sugar Ray. We have a lot of fun in this episode as we attempt to come to terms with our own relationship to the band (and Mark McGrath in particular) and the fact that we actually like this song. As Frank says, it does embody "that California sound that was sweeping the nation."

I realize how much better the music was in the 50’s and 60’s. The mixed tapes prove my point!!!😂 There are exceptions.

I can only think of 2 Sugar Rays. Sugar Ray Robinson Sugar Ray Leonard I wonder how many listening have a clue to this singer and song? I am still listening as you just said this unknown song almost got to #1. Fun learning about this.

Kahlin turned left and left the exam. I think some of us might have felt this way but we would turn right and give it a go. Kahlin must have felt completely lost but there must be more to it. I guess she may have missed a few classes. Enjoying the banter.
