This song brings us right back to those days at the local carnival or lower budget amusement park. For those of us in the Niagara Region, it was Prudhommes Landing. Music is a powerful thing - it brings you back to the sights, sounds, and smells of a particular time and place. Come journey with us!

Much has changed since the last time we did an episode on Corey Hart: Frank has a new mic, Bill is not messing around with EQ settings, and we are a bit more comfortable in our own podcasting skin. It's been almost 40 years since "Sunglasses At Night" and it still sounds incredible. We delve further into the history of Corey Hart's early career and celebrate his superb debut single.

Even in the midst of hot summer streets and the pavements that are burning of a cruel cruel summer, Bananarama is pretty much as cool as it gets.

We recorded this on the night before Frank was about to see his all-time favourite band for the first time. It was fitting, then, that we featured the group's "Walk On the Ocean."

Dave Kitchen is back and has shared with us his ultimate 1980s Canadian Guilt-Free Pleasure: Gowan's "Moonlight Desires." We discuss the spellbinding music, the sublime  John Anderson bridge, and the iconic music video.
**We apologize for not talking about how Gowan's music was a seminal part of Joey Jeremiah and Tessa Campanelli's relationship in "Degrassi: School's Out." I'm not sure if we will ever be able to forgive ourselves.

In order to properly celebrate this milestone episode, we knew we needed to go big. Who better than the top selling act of 1990 and 1991, with over 70 million records sold merchandise sales over $400 million in 1991 alone? Despite Cover Girl never reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, it is the #1 New Kids On The Block song for Bill and Frank. We deep dive into the history of NKOTB as well as closely examine why we love this song in particular.
