Take That: ”Back For Good” (Lipstick marks on coffee cups)

We're going back to 1995 for this gem. Frank recounts how this song pushed him to take a stand and declare his love for ballads. Our visiting Guilt-Free Pleasures scholar Dr. Andrew Pendakis also sends his analysis of the lyrical content of "Back for Good." We also take some time to reflect on the music video and give some general advice on whether this song is a good template for apologizing to your romantic partner.

Like Sir James Clark Ross exploring the Antarctic, we are also heading into uncharted territory in this episode. Enya's "Orinoco Flow" is unlike anything that was on the radio in 1988, and it is unlike any song we have featured thus far in our podcast. We brought in our good friend Professor Nathan Holmes to help us navigate the waters of this classic by the "Queen of New Age."
