Bill's sister sends in a testimonial about what "She's Like the Wind" means to her. Bill and Frank realize that we podcast as a form of therapy. Also, we can't find the bridge!

It is fitting that our longest episode to date features an icon of Guilt-Free Pleasureverse. In this episode, we examine the big hits from Rick Astley's debut album, "Whenever You Need Somebody." We examine "Never Gonna Give You Up," "Together Forever," "When I Fall in Love," and "It Would Take a Strong Strong Man." We discuss the Rickrolling phenomenon and discuss our own personal connections to the man and his music. Get ready for a lot of "walk-on" home runs in this episode!

In order to adequately wrestle with this megahit from Batman Forever, we brought back fan favourite Dave Kitchen. It's okay to love this song!

Bill and Frank love Andy Kim. He can write a great song and he is an all-around nice guy. "Rock Me Gently" is a request from one of our listeners. You can make a suggestion, too! Drop us a line on Instagram or Twitter @bandfguiltfree. You can also email us at bandfguiltfree@gmail.com

For the first time in the history of our podcast, we are featuring a song that was released in the 21st century! In honour of the tenth anniversary of one of the most perfect pop songs of our time, we have decided to gush over "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen. We also sit down with Austin Huh - one of the premier karaoke singers of Southern Ontario - to discuss whether one should even attempt to sing this. If you love great pop music, you will love this episode!

We're back with our longest song to date: Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf's maximalist masterpiece "I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)." We explore the song's history, legacy, and what keeps bringing us back for repeated listens. Chris Newkirk returns for a cameo as well!

In case you missed it in last week's show notes, we will be taking a brief two week break from the podcast. We wanted to say thanks for listening to the show so far, and we thought we'd leave you a little gift at the end of this bonus episode.

After months of tense negotiations, we were finally able to bring our good friend Liz to the show to discuss her love for Lionel Richie. Our focus today is "Stuck On You" and we discuss both the original version and the more recent duet with Darius Rucker. We dive into our own personal memories, explore possibilities for a proper music video for this song, and try to explain what it is that makes Mr. Richie's music so endearing. So don't listen to the haters - Lionel Richie is a Guilt-Free Mount Rushmore contender and the greatest moustached singer of all time!
Thank you for listening! Please subscribe/follow and share us with your friends. Like Lionel, we all need a friend (who loves great music).
Also, we will be going on a brief hiatus after this episode to produce our fall lineup. See you in a few weeks. Soon, we will return and we are coming home to stay ;)

This is possibly the most intense episode of Bill and Frank's Guilt-Free Pleasures to date. We are joined by our good friend Chris Koop (of the band Lunipeer) to have a friendly debate about who gave us the best "Forever Young" out of Bob Dylan, Rod Stewart, and Alphaville. When it comes to defending a song, a friendly debate can become acrimonious quickly. Don't worry, our band doesn't break up by the end of the episode, but we do learn some valuable lessons.
Thank you for listening to our show! We always appreciate ratings, reviews, follows, subscribes, shares, and general praise. Find us at @bandfguiltfree on Instagram. You can also send us messages through Podbean or at bandfguiltfree@gmail.com
